Optimal fuel supply is a crucial factor in maintaining the operational efficiency of a&#13;
vessel. Based on the results of the Fuel Oil (FO) Analysis on MT. GAS ALYSSA, it was&#13;
found that the fuel quality did not fully comply with ISO 8217 standards, such as viscosity&#13;
exceeding the recommended limit and cat fine content approaching the threshold. These&#13;
conditions may cause engine operational disturbances, increase the risk of component&#13;
wear, and reduce combustion efficiency. This problem requires a well-measured fuel&#13;
management strategy in accordance with laboratory analysis results.&#13;
This study aims to identify the factors causing suboptimal fuel quality, formulate&#13;
improvement measures based on FO Analysis results, and optimize the fuel supply&#13;
procedure to support the ship’s engine performance. The research method used is&#13;
qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation&#13;
onboard, interviews with engine officers, and a review of FO Analysis documents. The&#13;
collected data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing&#13;
techniques according to Miles &amp; Huberman’s model.&#13;
The results of this study are expected to provide effective technical and operational&#13;
recommendations to minimize the risk of engine damage caused by low-quality fuel and&#13;
to improve fuel usage efficiency on MT. GAS ALYSSA sustainably.

The cooling system in the cargo compressor plays a vital role in maintaining the stability of&#13;
liquefied gas cargo temperature during transportation. On the LPG/C Gas Walio vessel, the&#13;
performance of the cooling system is a crucial factor in ensuring operational efficiency and safety.&#13;
This study aims to identify issues within the cooling system, particularly related to the&#13;
performance of the condenser, glycol circulation, and the effectiveness of the strainer. The&#13;
methods used include direct observation, interviews with crew members, and analysis of&#13;
operational data. The results show that strainer clogging and lack of routine maintenance reduce&#13;
cooling efficiency. As a solution, optimization measures were implemented, such as increasing&#13;
the frequency of auto backwash, regular cleaning of the pump filter, and strict monitoring of the&#13;
coolant level and quality. The implementation of these steps has proven effective in improving&#13;
temperature and pressure stability in the system and reducing the risk of disruptions to the cargo&#13;
compressor.
